Job Overview and Responsibilities:
The principle requirement of the Load Builder/Customer Service Rep is to work with replenishment , sourcing and merchandizing teams to manage and maintain the integrity of data. Responsible for the accurate and efficient assembly of shipment loads based on customer orders, transportation schedules, and operational requirements. This includes:

  • Reviewing and interpreting order sheets, buy guides, and replenishment instructions.
  • Determining optimal load configurations to maximize trailer utilization while ensuring product integrity and compliance with transportation guidelines.
  • Building loads for various shipping methods, including FOB (Free On Board) and Delivered, for both East and West distribution points.
  • Coordinating with buyers, inventory teams, and transportation planners to confirm product availability, shipment priorities, and special handling instructions.
  • Ensuring all required documentation (packing slips, inspection reports, customs paperwork) is accurately generated and submitted.
  • Monitoring timelines and adjusting load plans as necessary to meet dispatch schedules and customer delivery requirements.
  • Identifying and communicating potential issues or delays to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintaining detailed records of load builds for traceability and reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
  • Post-Secondary education in Business/Supply Chain
  • Two years retail/Supply Chain experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to manage priorities in a demanding and continually changing environment, and to solve problem with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
