Accounting Clerk - Livestock

Your days will include:

Moving and entering transactions in Great Plains accounting systems. Entering all movements and sales invoices into the accounting systems. Communicating with internal and external producers and responding to inquiries. Compiling and distributing weekly reports on hog production and performance. Preparing monthly reporting review and analysis. Entering data from various sources into appropriate systems. Reconciling General Ledger accounts. Other duties as assigned.

To succeed in this role you must possess:

Organizational skills Time management Ability to prioritize work. A strong working knowledge of MS Office with an emphasis on Excel Analytical skills Experience in data-entry and database systems Ability to work independently and under pressure. Attention to detail. High School Diploma Basic accounting knowledge.
