General understanding of building systems (plumbing, electrical, etc.).
Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position.
Knowledge of and experience in general property management policies and procedures.
Duties:
Maintaining and enforcing all rules and regulations governing the building, including fire safety and security.
Monitoring of all building mechanical and fire systems.
Liaising with tenants and head office.
Managing garbage bins and recycle bins.
Small repairs as required.
Maintenance of interior and exterior common areas.
Removing snow and ice from pathways and walkways including salting.
Able to work a flexible schedule and work evenings, weekends for snow removal.
Assist the Board of Directors and Property Manager with the enforcement of rules, regulations, and by-laws of the Corporation.
Other duties, as assigned.
As much of the duties involve outdoor work, the ideal candidate would be comfortable working in inclement weather conditions. The employer provides suitable outdoor wear for seasonal maintenance.
Compensation
Salary will be determined based on qualifications of the successful applicant.
