Position Overview (Housing Apartment Provided)

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Live-In Superintendent to manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a residential rental building. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values tenant satisfaction, and is comfortable being the on-site point of contact for building needs.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily inspections of the building and common areas

Perform minor repairs and maintenance (basic plumbing, patching, painting, light electrical)

Respond promptly to tenant service requests and emergencies

Coordinate and supervise contractors and service providers

Oversee cleanliness of common areas and waste management

Assist with unit turnovers including move-in and move-out inspections

Ensure building safety, security, and compliance with local bylaws

Maintain logs and communicate regularly with property management

Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience as a superintendent, building operator, or maintenance role preferred

Strong maintenance and troubleshooting skills

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies when required

Physically capable of performing maintenance duties

Knowledge of residential building systems is an asset
