Tamwood Summer Camp is seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to fill the role of

Live-in

Marketing Assistant.

This position involves crafting content for Tamwood Camp's social media presence, leading campus tours, managing emails, and engaging staff in social media strategies. As a vital team member, you will contribute significantly to increasing brand awareness and interest in our camps, working for a growing brand that prioritizes learning through enjoyable experiences.

This position requires Live-in on Campus



Desired Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and customer communications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Enthusiastic and outgoing personality, comfortable leading tours and interacting with diverse audiences. Familiarity with video and photo editing tools. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Social Media Management:



Collaborate with the social media team to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to elevate Tamwood Summer Camp's online presence, primarily on Instagram and the Tamwood app. Create, curate, and upload engaging daily content--photos, videos, and captions--to the Tamwood app and Instagram, ensuring alignment with the camp's branding and marketing goals. Encourage and coordinate with staff to upload photos and videos to the Tamwood app regularly, fostering a consistent flow of content from various camp activities. Write compelling captions for posts, capturing the spirit and excitement of camp life while appealing to our audience. Monitor social media trends, engage with the online community, and respond promptly to comments and messages to maintain an active and positive presence.

Content Creation:



Capture and generate high-quality multimedia content (photos and videos) that showcases the unique and memorable experiences at Tamwood Summer Camp. Collaborate with various camp departments to gather content from daily activities, events, and special camp moments, ensuring a diverse and engaging portrayal of camp life. Edit and enhance photos and videos to uphold a consistent, professional brand image, applying filters, text, or graphics as needed. Create weekly video montages that highlight camp activities and milestones to share with campers and parents, keeping them engaged and updated. Compile a commemorative video featuring staff photos and memorable moments to be presented at the end-of-camp Counselor Celebration, recognizing the contributions and camaraderie of the team.

Campus Tours:



Conduct informative guided campus tours for prospective campers and families, offering detailed information about facilities, accommodations, and recreational areas. Ensure a positive and engaging experience during tours, addressing inquiries and ensuring visitors gain a comprehensive understanding of Tamwood Summer Camp.

Communications:



Respond promptly and professionally to general inquiry emails, providing accurate information and assistance to prospective campers and their families. Uphold a high standard of written communication in all interactions, conveying the welcoming and inclusive spirit of Tamwood Summer Camp.

Staff Training:



Develop and deliver training sessions for staff on social media best practices, content creation, and effective communication strategies. Offer ongoing support and guidance to staff, fostering a consistent and cohesive online presence.

Camp Support:



Involvement with camp operational needs Assist Director and Coordinators with Sunday airport pickup, drop offs and activity operations Assist General Counselors with their groups as needed Cover Counselor Groups when required

Contract dates: June 24, 2025 to August 18, 2025
