We are seeking a dedicated, positve, and skilled Maintenance Person to join our amazing team. You must have at least 4 years of experience in multi-residential high-rise maintenance, plumbing, boiler heating systems, electrical, and general repairs. You will be professional and courteous with an excellent work ethic. You must be a self-starter and able to work independently and in a team environment
Duties will include,
but not be limited to:
- changing and repairing faucets, sinks and toilets, clearing clogs, replacing pipes, faucet rough-in, and confidently locating leaks and other plumbing issues.
- Electrical work includes replacing outlets, switches, light fixtures, and identifying other issues as needed.
- cabinetry and closet door repairs and installation
- Fire & Life safety procedures and compliance tasks
- Oversight of waste, recycling, compactor duty - Evening & Weekend Requirement
- Provide excellent customer service and professionalism to residents & staff
- Emergency on-call overnight and weekends (On a rotational Basis)
- Liaison with contractors
- Liaison with security guards
- Oversight of building cleanliness and very occasional cleaning duties
- Maintaining building supplies and inventory
- Daily coordination & communication with the management office
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience in a large high-rise rental property
Excellent building and in-suite maintenance skills
WHMIS, Health & Safety practices & procedures
Building fire code compliance knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
COMPENSATION
Large 1+Den Apartment (Rent Free, Taxable Benefit) plus 1 indoor parking spot.
Salary of $35,000
