Live In Hotel Maintenance
Job Description
This position is ideal for someone who works well independently, has a strong background in hotel maintenance and repair. We can offer live-in opportunities as well for someone who wishes to live and work at the hotel.
1. Responsible for all the hotel maintenance
2. Making monthly checkups of different systems in the hotel including furnaces, air conditioning, daily pool maintenance
3. This role is a long-term position
4. This role would be ideal for someone who is semi-retired with maintenance experience or someone who needs flexibility with their working hours.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repair:
Perform a variety of tasks to maintain and repair the hotel's infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.Preventive Maintenance:
Implement and follow a proactive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
Diagnose and address issues with equipment and systems, including heating, cooling, lighting, and other hotel facilities.Emergency Repairs:
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and address urgent issues like leaks, power outages, or structural damage.Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.Guest and Staff Communication:
Communicate effectively with guests and staff to address maintenance needs and concerns.Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout the hotel.Collaboration:
Work effectively with other departments and contractors to ensure smooth operations.Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain and repair various pieces of equipment, including kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and other hotel systems.Upgrades and Installations:
Assist with upgrades and installations of new equipment and systems.Budget Management:
May be responsible for maintaining budgets, expenses, and activity logs related to maintenance.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
