We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each client.
Duties
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
Prepare meals and assist with nutritional needs while ensuring a clean living environment.
Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
Support clients with dementia care and other cognitive impairments, providing patience and understanding.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
Skills
Strong background in patient care, particularly in senior care settings.
Experience with caregiving for individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred.
Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety practices.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and families.
