Live In Caregiver For Physically Disabled
Job Description
This live-in personal care attendant position requires to provide personal care for a physically disabled person including the following duties : personal hygiene, dressing, transfers, repositioning, range of motion stretches, meal preparation and light housekeeping. Requirements: - Minimum of 6 months of experience as personal care worker OR the equivalent education in a personal support worker program or health care aid program. Training will also be provided - Personal support worker certificate or nursing diploma is an asset - Able to bend, stand, kneel for short periods of time and physically fit for the work - First Aid certificate and CPR required - Recent Criminal Check for vulnerable sector will be needed -Non-smoker -Up-to-date vaccination Advantages: - Safe and pleasant environment with view of the Ottawa River -Private bedroom and bathroom provided -Meals included - Contribute to the well-being and independence of a physically disabled person -Possibility to obtain a work permit for foreign worker already in Canada Job Type: Full-time Salary: $870.00-$1,038.00 per week Schedule:
