Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and a strong desire to improve the quality of life for those with varying needs, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role requires a blend of personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities.

Duties

Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Assist with light housekeeping tasks as necessary to maintain a comfortable living space. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care is provided, including hospice care when required.

Requirements

Previous experience in caregiving, nursing home, assisted living, or home care settings is preferred. Familiarity with medication administration protocols is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Knowledge of working with persons with disabilities is beneficial. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
