LEGAL ASSISTANT

What you will do:

Assist our litigation team with personal injury files including:

Organizing and assembling application packages

Filing, faxing, scanning, and copying

Assisting with routine correspondence (prepare and type correspondence, pleadings, etc.)

Arranging for court filing of documents

Following up with medical clinics, insurance companies on files status

Inputting reminders, updates, and saving correspondence

Handling clients' relations and provide exceptional customer service experience to all clients

Performing other administrative tasks as required

You have:

1-2 years experience as a Legal Assistant

Experience drafting affidavits of records, requesting documents from third parties, diarizing files

Diploma from an accredited legal assistant program or equivalent

Ability to work independently and as part of team

Attention to detail is crucial for this role
