Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in family law litigation, demonstrating expertise in legal research, drafting, and negotiation. This role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about advocating for clients and navigating complex family law legal challenges.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in family litigation matters, including trials, hearings, and mediations. Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while ensuring their best interests are prioritized. Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to prepare for court appearances and case management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting litigation practices. Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on case progress and legal options.

Experience

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in litigation or a related field is preferred. Strong research skills with proficiency in using LexisNexis or similar legal research tools. Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
