Who We Are:

Agueci Calabretta, colloquially known as AC Law, is a boutique law firm focused on debtor/creditor law with an emphasis on mortgage enforcement and real estate transactions for financial institutions. Working with lawyers and law clerks, our team is well equipped to address any real estate matters, from simple closings of purchases, sales, mortgages, and refinances, to acting on behalf of institutional mortgage and private lenders.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a motivated and confident Litigation Lawyer to join our dynamic and growing firm in servicing our financial institution clients. The successful candidate will have 7 to 10 years of litigation experience and experience in attending hearings at all levels of court. Knowledge of the mortgage enforcement/ power of sale process, along with experience in Creditors' Rights Law is preferred; but not required.

The selected applicant must be a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario. They must be able to independently manage civil litigation files; draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and factum; have superior written and oral skills; and, attend both in and out of court appearances such as discoveries and other legal proceedings. The ideal candidate must also demonstrate strong research skills and be able to operate in fast-paced high volume practice.

Requirements:

Minimum 7-10 years previous experience as a Litigation Lawyer Knowledge of mortgage enforcement and Creditor's Rights Law (preferred)

Pay: $150,000.00-$225,000.00 per year
