We are seeking a lawyer to join our expanding highly respected practice to provide legal advice and representation to clients regarding corporate and commercial disputes.

You have experience in:

Representing clients in a wide range of business litigation matters, including employment, commercial contract disputes, shareholder disputes, real estate/condo disputes, and general civil litigation including, estate litigation and small claims court disputes Developing and implementing effective litigation strategies, including case assessment, negotiation, and trial preparation. Conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing expert legal advice to clients. Collaborating with colleagues and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services to meet client objectives seamlessly. Staying current with changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients' cases. Appearing in court for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.

You will:

Be a licensed member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Have 4+ years of experience corporate and commercial litigation. Have strong drafting abilities. Have attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality client service. Have the ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team. (Bonus) have a portable book of business.

Remuneration:

Starting base salary of 110,000 per year Bonus based on performance
