Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated liscensed Assistant Store Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in retail management and have experience in the optical or laboratory fields, along with a solid understanding of medical terminology.

Duties

Assist the Store Manager in daily operational tasks and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Supervise and train staff to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales goals. Maintain an organized store environment, ensuring that merchandise is displayed effectively. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with the management team to develop promotional strategies that drive sales. Utilize retail management software to track sales performance and manage store operations.

Skills

Strong knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the store. Previous laboratory experience is a plus, enhancing your ability to assist customers with specific needs. Optical experience is highly desirable for understanding product offerings and customer requirements. Proven retail sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with customers and team members alike. Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in retail management is preferred, showcasing your leadership capabilities.
