Scheduled working shifts are weekday evenings, Fri mornings Stock, Fri Evenings, Sat and Sundays.

Ideal Candidate must be Mature age, speak fluent English, and can Multi Task.

First Consideration will be for those who

have experience working at a liquor store

. That doesn't mean working with liquor at a restaurant or bar.

Store is located downtown and you will need to

stay diligent in who enters the store. You must be comfortable in profiling individuals and asking for I.D's

Must be comfortable and confident

dealing with rare situations of individuals attempting to steal in store.

Job Requires lifting / placing stock away - Must be able to lift 50lbs, cases of wines. Ideal candidate should be physically fit and possess the ability to perform everyday lifting of cases of beer / wines / spirits to put away on shelves on a regular basis.

Parking is challenging in East Village. There is street parking, but majority of time is full. Consider using Public Transit.

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and promoting our products. Your ability to engage with customers and effectively manage sales will contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Process transactions accurately using cash handling procedures. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits. Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. Manage inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals.

Experience

Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Excellent time management skills to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with technical sales concepts is beneficial but not mandatory.

IDEALLY available to work Early Friday Shifts starting at 9am for putting stock away. Are you available for Friday Morning Shifts. MUST be Comfortable & Confident working downtown dealing with many types of individuals. There will be situations where you will have to deny enter into the store. Must speak fluent English Ideally has knowledge of wines, spirits, and craft beer. Ideally enjoys drinking as well There is great difficulty finding parking on the public streets of East Village, which makes if difficult for employees to commute to our store who depend of driving to work. This Store location is best suited for someone that lives in / or close to downtown that has access to utilize Public Transit, Train, Uber, walking etc etc

Why are you wanting to work at our wine store We are looking for individuals that have knowledge in liquor products . Do you know your Wines ?
