Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Cashier to join our Discount Liquor store team. The ideal candidate will handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with accuracy
- Greet customers and provide excellent service throughout their shopping experience
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Promote special sales and offers to customers
Qualifications
- Experience in cash handling and sales preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle peak customer traffic effectively
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic math skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and sell products effectively
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Knowledge of retail sales practices
- Ability to maintain professionalism and phone etiquette
Job Type: Part-time
