Summary

We are seeking a skilled Liquid Penetrant Technician-NDT to join our team at Cyclone Manufacturing Inc. in Mississauga. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting liquid penetrant inspection on our precision components to ensure they meet stringent quality standards. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Receive and prepare parts to inspect and complete the required documents. Inspect parts according to procedures and customer specifications. Identify manufacturing defects or other discontinuities. Strictly follow NDT instructions and techniques. Have the skills and knowledge to set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results. Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method. Have the skills and knowledge to conduct systems performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard. Capable of providing the necessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees. When specified in the written practice, be capable of developing work instructions from the approved general procedures. Have a basic knowledge of the relevant product manufacturing. All other tasks assigned by Supervisor or Manager

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Certified according to standard NAS 410 Formal training in Liquid Penetrant Inspection. Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering Strong attention to detail. Ability to work standing upright and lift loads of up to 25lbs. Ability to read and speak in English is mandatory. A minimum of 1 year experience conducting liquid penetrant inspections in an aerospace industry.

Pay: $30.32-$37.00 per hour
