Linehaul Night, AZ Driver Casual Part-Time

High possibility to become a full-time position

Schedule up to 30 hours weekly:

between 2 pm to 1 am - from three (3) to five (5) days per week if needed

Hourly rate:

$27.60 per hour

Cardinal Couriers is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. This position is responsible for loading orders into an assigned company vehicle and following a predetermined route to ensure that all deliveries are made safely and on time. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced environment that requires driving, lifting, lowering, and carrying packages to ensure damage free delivery.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Accompany the driver on delivery routes and help in timely and accurate deliveries. Carry packages to the delivery location and designated drop off points. Complete pick-ups and deliveries throughout the evening for pre 8am parcel availability deliveries/pick-ups. Participate in loading and unloading materials on outgoing trucks by repetitive lifting. Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and operate company equipment safely. Daily submission and completion of all required documentation in an accurate manner, to be submitted to Night Supervisor and/or Operations Manager as soon as possible. Provide professional and courteous service to customers and sub trades.

Who you are:

AZ License: 2 years (required) Minimum 2-3 years of commercial driving experience Clean driver abstracts and CVOR report. Valid Commercial driver's license Have previous warehouse shipping/receiving experience. Perform responsibilities safely, in accordance with company polices. Independent and self-starter Exceptional communication and multi-tasking skills Comfortable meeting deadlines Comfortable and capable to lift up to 70 lbs. You keep an organized and clean environment.
