We are currently looking to fill a

full-time, permanent position

for

Line Lead

in our

Production Department

at our

Leamington ON Farms

facility.

What You'll Do:

Delegate work to 10-20 employees on the packing lines including training, organizing, and delegating employees to meet the required performance levels. Review daily production orders and ensuring packs are completed according to pack instructions and customer specifications. Overseeing the packing lines to ensure they are running efficiently; quickly troubleshooting issues to keep the lines moving. Ensuring the lines are ready before commencing each order Ensuring the lines are properly cleaned after the completion of each order. Ensuring workers are properly trained on all Nature Fresh procedures including workplace health and safety procedures, and that workers work safely at all times and use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or other safety equipment. Registering Priva activities for the specific jobs for packers utilizing computers available at each line. Monitor line productivity against set targets and update the team's output on whiteboards every hour. Cover any Line Lead absences when needed. Ensuring work areas are kept clean and safe at all times. Overseeing the inventory of packaging materials and re-ordering as required. Accurately completing all related documentation and paperwork as required by management. Reporting operational issues or delays to the Warehouse Supervisor in a timely manner. Reporting employee relations issues to the Warehouse Supervisor so that the Warehouse Supervisor can handle them in a timely and appropriate manner. Must comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures. This job description highlights the main components but is not inclusive of other activities that may be required.

What You Bring:

Good performance in your previous role is essential. Previous experience as a Line Lead is an asset. Patient, respectful, and able to direct employees effectively. Organization and attention to detail are necessary. Good communication skills - both verbal and written are required. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure or tight constantly changing deadlines. Must be available to work Monday-Saturday - hours will fluctuate according to the needs of the business. Spanish is an asset.

What To Expect:

Working in cool and warm environments. Walking, sitting, and standing throughout the day. Time spent in production area and office setting. Team-oriented environment with some independent work. Working with a wide array of people and cultures in a team setting. Line Leads are expected to work Monday-Saturday, with occasional Sundays as required. Hours may fluctuate according to business needs. May be required to work after hours as needed. This is an active role, time will be spent in the office and walking within the Warehouse or other phases as required. Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
