We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes to our guests while maintaining the standards of food safety and kitchen organization. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques and meal preparation.
Knowledge of food safety standards within the food industry.
Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork in the kitchen.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others as part of a team.
