Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook / Supervisor to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and handling, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook / Supervisor , you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional meals to our guests while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and storage spaces.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality control.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
• Assist with Menu Developing, Event Planning, Catering

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is REQUIRED .
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is REQUIRED .
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in the culinary field.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$22.49 per hour

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Cooking: 1 year (required)

Language:

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (preferred)
• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
