We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all food is prepared according to our standards of excellence and safety.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
Participate in training new kitchen staff as required
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or kitchen setting
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork in a busy environment
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in the food industry
Experience with meal preparation and serving is highly desirable
A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills
