Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared according to our standards of excellence and safety. Duties

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and portioning food accurately. Cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages as needed. Help maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food service best practices. Familiarity with food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
