We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and tools.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
