Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Chucks Roadhouse Bar & Grill. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Assist in food preparation and ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in training sessions to enhance cooking skills and knowledge of food safety regulations.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to help create exceptional dining experiences.

Pay: $17.20-$19.20 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
