Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Supervisor to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook/Supervisor , you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of excellence. Candidates will also have an opportunity to fill roles of supervisor and kitchen manager.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in training sessions to enhance cooking skills and knowledge of food safety.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices. Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Management experience is necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
