We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all dishes meet our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and cooking equipment.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, cooking roasts, turkey, soups and preparing sauces.
Work with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality control.
Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment.
Familiarity with food preparation and cooking methods is required.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is required. Holding a valid Food Safe Certificate required.
Experience in food service roles is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
