Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service hours Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Adhere to restaurant policies regarding sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations within the food industry Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment usage Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Knowledge of serving practices and customer service principles is a plus Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food presentation and plating techniques

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
