We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position is full time nights and requires availability until 1 am and reliable transportation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Supervise night service
Ensure kitchen close meets company standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques, including chopping, grilling, frying, and baking
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
