We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering delicious meals to our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling and storage of food products. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning equipment and utensils after use.

Skills

Strong experience in food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Familiarity with meal preparation processes and equipment used in the food industry.
