We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that our restaurant maintains high standards of food quality and safety. As a Line Cook, you will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to food safety guidelines. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Collaborate with fellow cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.

Skills

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools. Team player with strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff.
