With our talented Executive Chef, Andrea Alridge, Top Chef finalist, leading the charge, Janevca promises to redefine Esquimalt's dining scene with its unique fusion of flavors and vibrant atmosphere.

Our restaurant boasts an exciting addition with the incorporation of a state-of-the-art Grillworks Grill. This innovative cooking equipment offers us the unique opportunity to explore the art of cooking with open fire, elevating our culinary offerings to new heights. With its precision control and versatility, the Grillworks Grill empowers our chefs to experiment with different techniques and flavors, ensuring that each dish is imbued with the unmistakable essence of live-fire cooking. WHAT YOU BRING



Must be available for full time PM work and have your own tools (knife roll)

Execute dishes with precision in timing, temperature control, and plating under pressure Assist with ingredients prep, service coordination, and cross-training across cooking stations Work collaboratively with line cooks, chefs, pastry, and front-of house teams for seamless service Maintain consistent cleanliness and food safety standards

Qualifications:



Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality Strong knife skills, culinary technique, and awareness of high-end plating standards Adaptability and composure in a fast-paced, fire-forward environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Passion for working with quality ingredients and sharing culinary inspiration with guests Flexible schedule and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
