Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in a bustling restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean kitchen.
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to set recipes
- Ensure food is cooked to the restaurant's standards and promptly served
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Follow food safety procedures and guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to provide excellent service
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or relevant role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to help where needed
