Qualification
No need experience but preferred.
Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and restaurant policy
Prepares a variety of meats,poultry, vegetables and other food items.
Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins
Setup workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
Seasons food according to recipes
Orders ingredients and spices as needed
Operates various kitchen appliance such as an oven, grill, or stand mixer
Portions, arranges, and garnishes food
Assists other cooks during the food assembly process
Communicates with the owner and/or chef about how to improve meal service
Alters dishes based on consumer suggestions or requirements.
Wages $16 to $18per hour
Important information: Flexibility in schedule is required. Position requires extended work hours, including evening, night, weekend and holiday hours as needed.
