Responsibilities:
Prep Cook Duties:
Prepare fresh ingredients, including slicing vegetables, portioning meats, and making sauces.
Maintain prep stations by stocking and organizing ingredients efficiently.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist in receiving and storing inventory properly.
Line Cook Duties:
Cook smash burgers to perfection on a flat-top grill following restaurant standards.
Assemble burgers with precision, ensuring consistency and quality.
Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts.
Work closely with team members to ensure fast and efficient service.
Closing Cook Duties:
Complete all tasks on the designated closing list with accuracy and efficiency.
Thoroughly clean all workstations, cooking equipment, utensils, and floors to meet food safety standards.
Refill low stock items and prepare ingredients as directed to ensure readiness for the next shift.
Actively listen to kitchen leads and respond to instructions in a timely and respectful manner.
As well as all tasks under Line Cook Duties.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
