As a Nigerian takeout restaurant in Winnipeg, Manitoba, we're looking for a skilled and dependable

Line Cook

to join our growing kitchen team!

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook Nigerian dishes according to established recipes and quality standards. Portion, plate, and package meals efficiently -- maintaining consistency and presentation. Support smooth kitchen flow during peak hours and collaborate with front-of-house staff as needed. Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in your workstation at all times. Assist with prep work (chopping, marinating, organizing ingredients) and restocking as required. Jump in to support FOH team during busy times (e.g., packaging, handing out orders).

What We're Looking For

Previous kitchen or line cook experience is an asset, but the ability to prepare Nigerian meals confidently and consistently is a must for this role.

We're happy to support with additional training, but a strong foundation in Nigerian cuisine is essential.

Ability to stay focused and organized in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Good communication and a team-first attitude -- we all support one another. Attention to detail and care in food handling and presentation. Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Interest or passion for Nigerian cuisine is a strong plus!
