We are seeking a dedicated and skilled cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality tempura, karaage, noodles and bento in a fast-paced kitchen. As cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious Japanese food while adhering to food safety standards and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen.
Duties
Prepare vegetables and tempura and bento according to recipes and established standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods.
Experience in food preparation and meal assembly within a restaurant or food service environment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food handling and preparation.
