We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of meals. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and safety practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others. Basic culinary skills with an eagerness to learn more about meal preparation techniques. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
