Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Bait Cuisine in the Greater Toronto Area. This role is essential in delivering our mission of providing an exceptional dining experience through high-quality food preparation and cooking. Your contributions will directly impact our guests' satisfaction and the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Participate in menu development and special events as needed.
Support training of new kitchen staff.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
