Lorette Golf Course\xe2\x80\x99s clubhouse restaurant is open seasonally throughout the golf season. We cater for short-order cooking as well as hosting large Tournaments/Banquets throughout the season. We are currently seeking a Line cook to join our existing and the role will be the kitchen\'s primary cook at times and provide quality food for our patrons and guests. This role is seasonal between (May and October) Line Cook\xe2\x80\x99s Working Hours: One Part-Time position up to 20-25 hours per week, including lunchtime, evenings and weekends. Flexible shift patterns, and we can work around other roles. Duties include but are not limited to * Short Order Cooking * Daily food preparation & re-stocking * Creation & execution of daily food specials * Maintaining a clean workspace * Assisting other departments & staff as required Abilities, Skills and Requirements \xe2\x80\x93 Line Cook * Experience with Short-Order Cooking * Able to deliver a consistent product daily, based on standards set by the golf course * Knowledge in portion control and monitoring/minimizing food waste * Creativity & ability to cook foods from scratch (Specials, Menu Items, Soups, etc.) * Must Have Food Handling Certification * Serving it Safe Certificate (or willing to get) * Willing to take on various responsibilities and work effectively individually and as part of a team. * Available to work various shifts, including, but not limited to, Lunchtimes, Evenings & Weekends. * Own reliable transportation (located outside of the city, no public transportation available) * Responsible, reliable, honest and committed to being your best every day.
