We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong understanding of food safety practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is a must.
Knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
