Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at The Wheelhouse in Georgetown. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to freshness and flavor, contributing significantly to our guests' dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients. Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed meticulously. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace throughout the shift. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality. Passion for cooking and a desire to learn new techniques.
