We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Duties
Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and menu specifications.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure safe food handling practices.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down workstations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is essential.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is required.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
