Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service to our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within the food industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Support the team during busy service times by efficiently managing multiple tasks Ensure proper portioning and plating of dishes for optimal presentation Collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver timely and exceptional food service

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed Passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn new skills in the food industry Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy pots or ingredients

Pay: $17.00-$35.00 per hour
