Summary

We are seeking a talented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Fennec Kitchen & Bar in Edmonton. This role is essential in ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes that align with our mission of providing an outstanding dining experience. Your contributions will directly impact our guests' satisfaction and the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed. Assist in menu planning and food preparation as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies. Participate in training new kitchen staff as required. Uphold the restaurant's standards for quality and presentation.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a fast-paced environment for a minimum of 3 years. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and culinary techniques. Familiarity with fine dining standards is a plus. Team player with good communication skills. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
