We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact restaurant specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the kitchen with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and equipment before and during service Prepare ingredients for menu items, including chopping vegetables, butchering meats, and making sauces Cook and plate dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and presentation standards Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure all dishes are completed and served on time Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper handling and storage of leftover food Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Comply with nutrition guidelines and health regulations at all times Take direction from the Executive Chef or Sous Chef and execute tasks with accuracy and efficiency Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional attitude with coworkers and staff
Requirements:
+2 years Proven experience as a line cook is must. Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as needed Culinary school training is a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
