Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety practices and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines for handling, storing, and preparing food. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Other task and assignmnets assigned by Kitchen Manager.

Requirements

Minimum 02 years of previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for the food industry with a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 44 per week
