Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure high-quality food service. Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal food quality. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Skills

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
