We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in food preparation and handling. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals to our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure safety.
Participate in the training of new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
